Traditional Chinese Medicine Series
Yin/Yang Theory and Qi
Workshop, Slow Flow and Yin practice
(In-Person)
About this Workshop:
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a centuries-old framework that views the body as an interconnected system of relationships. When applied to a yoga or embodiment practice, it provides a unique way of relating to ourselves and the world around us. This first of a series of workshops will introduce you the core concepts of Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin/Yang Theory, and the concept of Qi, and learn how to apply these to your yoga practice or teaching. Lecture/discussion will be followed by a 75-minute Slow Flow and Yin practice that will allow you to feel and integrate these concepts into your practice. Open to yoga teachers or anyone interested in this way of viewing our bodies and the world!
